Hamburg were named as being in negotiations with the Whites, who are mulling the decision over. They must first get a replacement in, though.
Bielsa has seen his squad plagued with injuries this season, so the last thing they want to do is leave him short of options in a potential relegation battle.
Equally, Summerville deserves to be getting regular playing time to help his development.
The Dutch youth international has made eight appearances across all competitions for the first team, but those total less than 200 minutes on the pitch.
