Nelly Korda enters the 2026 LPGA FM Championship as the frontrunner among a strong 144-player lineup at TPC Boston this week. Currently ranked world No. 1, Korda has secured four victories and amassed close to $6.2 million in earnings during this LPGA season as it approaches its conclusion.
Challenging her position, the tournament boasts the presence of the entire top 10 from the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Notably, world No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul, who finished second at last year’s event, arrives with three wins already recorded this season.

Returning champions add further depth to the field. Haeran Ryu, who claimed the inaugural 2024 title, comes back to a venue where she has proven her closing ability. The defending champion, Miranda Wang, also looks to defend her crown after last year’s triumph.
The event highlights local Massachusetts talent as well, with hometown players Megan Khang and Alexa Pano competing before a familiar audience. In total, 14 out of the 15 players who have won on the LPGA Tour this season are participating.
Now in its third year, the FM Championship offers a substantial purse of $4.4 million, ranking it among the most lucrative tournaments on the LPGA Tour. The competition runs from August 27 through August 30 at TPC Boston in Norton, with all four days broadcast live on Golf Channel.
