The iconic television series The X-Files is being brought to life in an unprecedented way with the release of a new LEGO set composed of 1,478 pieces. This marks the very first time the beloved sci-fi show has been transformed into a detailed brick model, officially revealed as part of the LEGO Ideas collection.
To mark the launch, Gillian Anderson, reprising her role as Dana Scully, appeared in a promotional video culminating in the unveiling of the set. The video showcases the excitement surrounding this unique tribute to the series, capturing the attention of fans and collectors alike.
The design of the set is credited to Australian fan and 3D artist Brent Waller, who submitted the project through the LEGO Ideas platform’s ’90s Nostalgia Challenge. Garnering sufficient support from the community, the concept was greenlit to become an official LEGO product.
Iconic Scenes and Characters Captured in Brick Form
The completed model is a two-level display that faithfully recreates some of the most memorable elements of the series. The lower level features the cluttered basement office of Fox Mulder, including the instantly recognizable “I Want to Believe” poster. Above this, the upper قسم depicts a dramatic alien abduction scene set in a forest, capturing the eerie atmosphere that fans associate with the show.
In addition to the intricate settings, the set includes eight detailed minifigures portraying key characters: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Cigarette Smoking Man, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Flukeman, and a classic Grey Alien. These figures enhance the immersive experience and offer fans a tangible connection to the series’ rich mythology.
