Indie developer Lunarium Game Studio, in collaboration with publisher Imperfect Games, has officially announced the release date for Lunarium, a hand-drawn isometric action RPG. The game will be available on PC via Steam starting July 29, 2026. A recently unveiled trailer offers an inside look at this story-driven adventure, highlighting its intense combat and rich exploration mechanics.

A Dual-Hero Dynamic at the Heart of Combat

Central to Lunarium is its innovative dual-protagonist gameplay, in which players alternate control between two heroines: Ave, a master swordswoman, and Lune, an adept sorceress. Ave’s combat style revolves around close-range engagements, emphasizing skillful parries and dodges. Meanwhile, Lune plays a strategic support role by generating Resonance Points—a vital resource that not only weakens adversaries but also enables powerful combined attacks when coordinated with Ave.

Character progression in Lunarium is multifaceted, allowing players to customize their approach through various systems. Collecting Embroideries—passive charms that enhance combat capabilities—is one way to boost effectiveness. Additionally, players gather materials to upgrade weapons and unlock new skills within each heroine’s distinct skill tree, providing depth and flexibility throughout the journey.

The game invites players to dive into a decaying world, where the intertwined destinies of these two young women unfold through a blend of fast-paced battles and immersive exploration, all rendered in a beautifully hand-drawn style that brings the environment and characters vividly to life.
