Emily Clark and Jaime Bourbonnais, teammates on Team Canada, have announced their engagement during the PWHL offseason. Clark described Bourbonnais as “the joy of my life,” revealing the depth of their relationship that blossomed over several years within Canada’s national team program.

Their romance began while living in Montreal throughout the pandemic, and since then, they have skated together in multiple IIHF World Championships, earning numerous medals along the way.

Emily Clark Commits to PWHL Hamilton with Two-Year Deal

This engagement marks a significant milestone amid a busy offseason for Emily Clark as she advances her professional career in the PWHL. Having served as an alternate captain for three seasons in Ottawa, Clark demonstrated remarkable durability by appearing in all 100 games played by the Charge. She also led the team in scoring during the 2025 PWHL Walter Cup Playoffs.

In June, Clark signed a two-year contract with the newly established PWHL Hamilton, joining one of the league’s most promising expansion teams. Meanwhile, Jaime Bourbonnais continues her strong presence on the blue line as an alternate captain for the New York Sirens. Bourbonnais is entering her fourth season with the Sirens after agreeing to a contract extension last year.
