At Anime Expo 2026, Crunchyroll and Aniplex officially unveiled their latest project: an animated feature film titled ‘Solo Leveling: Beyond the System’. This new movie will pick up the storyline directly after the events of the anime’s second season, Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadows, extending the narrative beyond what the TV series has covered so far.

Although the announcement did not include details regarding the film’s release date or plot specifics, attendees of the convention were given an exclusive first look at a teaser visual for the project. This confirmation puts to rest ongoing speculation about the future of the franchise, especially concerns that a third season might be delayed until 2027 or later.

A Cinematic Evolution of a Popular Franchise

The decision to develop a feature-length film reflects a growing trend in the anime industry, where theatrical adaptations of successful TV series are becoming المزيد common and commercially viable worldwide. Productions supported by Sony have notably proven that such films can attract audiences beyond the established fanbase, turning these releases into significant cultural and financial milestones.

‘Solo Leveling: Beyond the System’ will see the return of much of the original creative team responsible for the television adaptation. Animation production will once again be managed by the renowned studio A-1 Pictures, ensuring continuity in both style and quality as the story moves onto the big screen.
