Valencia CF have secured the signing of promising اليابانية winger Ryunosuke Sato, who joins the club from FC Tokyo on a contract extending through to 2031. The 18-year-old, born in Nishitokyo, Tokyo, on أكتوبر 16, 2006, arrives at Mestalla with a reputation for pace, agility, and refined technical skill, aimed at bolstering the club’s offensive options.

During his tenure at FC Tokyo, Sato made a significant impact, scoring six goals and delivering six assists across 19 appearances. His performances earned him the prestigious J1 League Best Young Player award, highlighting his potential at a young age. Additionally, the winger spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Fagiano Okayama, where he featured in 28 matches, netting five goals and adding one assist to his record.

Rising Star on the International Stage

On the international front, Sato’s progression has been equally notable. Having represented Japan consistently across all youth levels—from Under-16 through to Under-23—he made his senior national team debut on June 10, 2025. Remarkably, he became the youngest player in Japan’s history to participate in a FIFA World Cup qualifier, underscoring his rapid rise within the national setup.

His achievements with Japan include winning the AFC Asian Cup at both Under-17 and Under-23 levels, as well as contributing to the senior team’s success in the EAFF E-1 كرة القدم Championship. These honors reflect Sato’s growing influence and promise on the international stage.

As Valencia looks ahead to strengthening its squad for upcoming seasons, the club will hope that Sato’s development continues apace in LaLiga, potentially positioning him as one of the brightest young talents in اليابانية football making an impact in European competition.
