Jenkins delivered the news via Threads, drawing a parallel to the recent remarks by Mahershala Ali regarding the delayed Marvel Studios reboot of ‘Blade.’ Quoting Ali’s sentiment, Jenkins stated, “My Booster Gold won’t be moving forward. Can’t improve on Mahershala’s lovely statement so I’ll just apply it here as well.” Ali had expressed that if a studio truly intended to push a project forward, it would have happened by now, implying it was time to accept the halt and move on. Despite the fresh angle and the promise of expanding the shared universe, the project will no longer move forward, leaving fans to wonder about the future direction of this character within DC’s evolving media landscape.
