Juventus has undertaken a significant reorganization of its men’s football department, unveiling Frederic Massara as the club’s new Chief Football Officer, according to an announcement made on Mardi.

In his expanded role, Massara will report directly to CEO Giovanni Carnevali and take charge of overseeing both the management and development of the men’s sporting sector. His responsibilities will include contributing to the design and execution of Juventus’ sporting strategy, working closely alongside Sporting Director Marco Ottolini.

Bringing a wealth of experience from top Italien clubs, Massara’s background includes senior sporting positions at AC Milan and AS Roma, where he was instrumental in constructing competitive squads and fostering long-term football initiatives. His arrival signals Juventus’ intention to reinforce their technical and strategic leadership within the sport.

Chiellini’s New Executive Role Strengthens Club’s Institutional Links

Alongside Massara’s appointment, Juventus also confirmed that club icon Giorgio Chiellini has been named Chief Club Affairs Officer. Transitioning from his storied playing career, Chiellini will now focus on enhancing the club’s relationships with key institutions, strategic partners, and football authorities both domestically and on the international stage.

Commenting on these changes, CEO Giovanni Carnevali emphasized the club’s vision: “We are building a solid, competent and cohesive structure capable of supporting our ambitions both now and in the future.” He expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Massara to the Juventus family, highlighting his expertise and deep football knowledge as valuable assets that complement the existing professionalism within the club.
