Citron was efficient throughout the game, converting 7-of-13 shots from the field and flawlessly sinking all 12 of her free throws. In a critical moment during the fourth quarter, when Connecticut leveled the score at 70, Citron responded with a decisive personal scoring run that pushed Washington ahead, securing their lead for the remainder of the contest.

Complementing Citron’s efforts, forward Michaela Onyenwere delivered a season-best 22 points, shooting an impressive 8-of-12 overall and a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range.
