Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to send defender Radu Dragusin to Fiorentina on a loan deal worth £1 million, which includes a £15.5 million obligation to buy. Fiorentina will cover Dragusin’s wages throughout the 2026/27 season. This move follows Dragusin’s limited playing opportunities at Tottenham, especially after the arrivals of defenders Romero, Van de Ven, Danso, Senesi, and Van Hecke.

Meanwhile, discussions between Tottenham and Juventus regarding goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario have taken a positive turn. Juventus are looking to secure Vicario on loan with an option to buy, and the player himself is reportedly keen on the move. Vicario’s salary is estimated to be around €4 million. Tottenham appear open to negotiations, particularly given Juventus’ current challenges in securing alternative goalkeeper targets such as Dibu Martinez and Zion Suzuki.

Squad Updates and Transfer Speculations

Injury concerns have struck Tottenham’s defensive options, with right-back Djed Spence ruled out of England’s upcoming match against Mexico. This absence compounds the right-back dilemma for manager Thomas Tuchel, as Reece James remains sidelined and Jarrel Quansah has only recently returned to fitness. The defensive situation at the Azteca Stadium is therefore precarious for England.

On the transfer front, forward Rafael Leao has shown openness to a potential move to Tottenham. The club has initiated contact with Leao’s agent, Jorge Mendes, but no formal bid has yet been submitted. AC Milan, Leao’s current club, are demanding a significant transfer fee for the player. If a deal were to materialize, it would mark a notable reunion with Sandro Tonali and would fit into manager Roberto De Zerbi’s ambitious squad overhaul plans.
