However, Amoore ignited a remarkable turnaround, spearheading a 17-2 run that transformed a 10-point deficit into a five-point advantage. Her consecutive three-pointers stretched the lead to 78-73 with just 1:18 left on the clock. Betnijah Laney-Hamilton then sealed the victory at the free-throw line with 28.1 seconds remaining.
Adding to the team’s strong showing, fellow sophomore Kiki Iriafen recorded 20 points and 12 rebounds, marking her 19th double-double of the season and providing crucial support in the Mystics’ effort to secure the win.
