Maya Brady, a utility player for the Oklahoma City Spark, is making a remarkable run early in the 2026 AUSL season as she inches closer to achieving a feat yet unseen in the league’s history. After just 11 games, Brady is leading the charge toward capturing the AUSL’s first-ever Triple Crown.

Currently topping the league with five home runs and 11 RBIs, Brady also ranks within the Top 10 in batting average, keeping alive her chances in all three categories required for the prestigious Triple Crown. Alongside these impressive offensive stats, she boasts an on-base percentage of .575 and leads the league in runs scored with 13. Her consistency at the plate is underscored by a 16-game hitting streak that dates back to her 2025 debut season with the Utah Talons, having recorded a hit in every professional game she’s played so far.

Maya Brady Faces AUSL Triple Crown Challengers

Although Brady holds a commanding position, strong competition remains in the race for the Triple Crown. Veteran slugger Sami Williams of the Chicago Bandits matches Brady’s RBI total at 11, trailing only slightly in batting average at .467 and with three home runs. Meanwhile, rookie Reese Atwood of the Carolina Blaze stays in contention with eight RBIs and a .450 batting average.

Brady, who was selected first overall in December’s Expansion Draft, has emerged as a dominant force as the league approaches the one-third mark of its season. Should she maintain her current pace, Brady stands poised to secure a historic milestone for the second-year professional softball league.
