The Mega Millions jackpot has surged past the $400 million threshold after no tickets matched all the numbers in Tuesday’s drawing.

On June 9, the winning combination featured the white balls numbered 9, 30, 36, 38, and 40, accompanied by the gold Mega Ball 3. Despite the anticipation, no player secured the grand prize, marking the 24th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner.

Jackpot Growth and Upcoming Draw

Prior to Tuesday’s drawing, the jackpot was estimated at $392 million, with the cash option valued at $173.3 million. Since the jackpot remained unclaimed, it rolled over to an estimated $413 million, increasing the cash option to approximately $182.6 million. These figures are stated before taxes.

The next chance to win this escalating prize will come on Friday, June 12, at 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT, when the Mega Millions drawing takes place once again.

How to Participate in Mega Millions

Each Mega Millions ticket costs $5. Players choose five white balls from a pool ranging between 1 and 70, alongside one gold Mega Ball numbered between 1 and 24. The game offers nine different prize tiers, including opportunities to recover the initial ticket cost.
