The recall targets So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints, sold across major retailers such as Target and Walmart nationwide.
The recall is prompted by the potential presence of foreign materials, including small stones and other hard objects, found within the cashew inclusions of the product. This contamination risk was brought to light following consumer complaints, leading Danone USA to collaborate with retailers to promptly remove the affected items from shelves.
Identifying the Recalled Frozen Dessert
The specific products involved in the recall are pints with best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028. These can be recognized by the SKU number “136603” and the UPC code “744473476138”, both located at the base of the packaging.
Consumers who have purchased these frozen dessert pints are strongly advised not to consume the product. Instead, they are encouraged to seek either a replacement coupon or a refund by contacting the So Delicious Dairy Free Consumer Care Line at 1-833-367-8975. Danone USA has confirmed that products shipped after this recall announcement are not affected by this issue.
