Golf Canada has announced the complete 156-player lineup for the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open, set to take place at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton. This marks the tournament’s third time at this venue, with the LPGA Tour event scheduled to commence on August 19th.

At the forefront of the competition stands Nelly Korda, the world No. 1, who regained her top spot after claiming her third major title at the Chevron Championship in April. She will be joined by six additional players from the current Rolex Top 10, promising a fiercely competitive leaderboard throughout the week.

Brooke Henderson Leads Canadian LPGA Tour Representation

Leading the 15-strong Canadian contingent is the defending champion, Brooke Henderson. The 28-year-old Ontario native secured her 14th tour victory last August at Mississaugua, finishing with a 4-under 67 to narrowly surpass Minjee Lee by a single stroke. Henderson remains one of only two Canadians to have won the national open, alongside Jocelyne Bourassa, who triumphed in 1973.

Among the notable international participants is three-time winner Lydia Ko, who returns to contend for a record-breaking fourth title. Other top-ranked players such as Hyo Joo Kim, Miyu Yamashita, Ruoning Yin, Hannah Green, and Minjee Lee will also be in the field. In addition, amateur standout Kiara Romero is set to make her professional debut at this prestigious event.

All competitors will vie for a total purse of $2.75 million, underscoring the tournament’s status as one of the premier stops on the LPGA Tour.
