The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) has announced the full schedule for its 2026 Championship Week, culminating in the title match set for November 21st at Audi Field in Washington, DC.
The week’s festivities will commence on November 18th with the second annual NWSL Awards ceremony, where the league’s top players, teams, and coaches from the season will receive recognition for their outstanding achievements.
Following the awards, Commissioner Jessica Berman is slated to deliver her State of the League address on November 19th. Later that evening, fans can attend Time Wasting Live, hosted by JWS and featuring appearances by players Kelley O’Hara and Ali Riley at Union Stage.
Skills Challenge and Fan Engagement Take Center Stage
On November 20th, the NWSL Skills Challenge returns for its fourth year, showcasing player talents across multiple competitions including the Gauntlet, Breakaway Circuit, and Precision Point events. Competitors will vie for a prize pool totaling $35,000.
The championship day itself kicks off with the inaugural NWSL Championship 5K, an event aimed at engaging fans ahead of the big match. This is followed by the league’s sixth annual Fan Fest, where attendees can enjoy interactive games, live music, food, drinks, and a variety of pre-game activities designed to enhance the championship experience.
