The Pokémon Company International has unveiled fresh details about the upcoming Pokémon Trading Card Game: 30th Celebration expansion, a special set marking three decades of the beloved franchise. Scheduled for release on September 16, 2026, this expansion will be available globally, offering fans a unique commemorative experience.
Distinctively, this expansion will see every card adorned with a foil finish, a first for any mainline Pokémon TCG release. This new approach ensures a uniformly premium look and feel for all cards in the set, whether collectors seek them for building decks or enhancing their collections.
A standout feature of the set is the introduction of a new rarity class named “Futuristic rare”. These cards showcase artwork by renowned Japanese visual artist YOSHIROTTEN, whose bold, avant-garde style brings a fresh perspective that contrasts with the traditional Pokémon card art. This artistic direction emphasizes innovation while maintaining the essence of the Pokémon universe.
