The upcoming 2027 season of Unrivaled Basketball will launch on January 8th at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, marking the beginning of an extensive eight-city tour. This marks a significant evolution for the 3×3 offseason league, which is expanding its footprint across multiple major basketball markets.
Having spent its inaugural 2025 season confined to a single venue near Miami, Unrivaled broadened its reach in 2026 by hosting sellout events in Philadelphia and Brooklyn. The 2027 itinerary demonstrates a further commitment to a traveling league format, underscoring the league’s ambition to engage fans nationwide.

Unrivaled Tour Stops Highlight Strong WNBA Markets
Each tour stop is strategically located in cities that host WNBA franchises, a deliberate alignment illustrating Unrivaled’s long-term vision toward establishing privately owned teams. This approach reflects the league’s intent to tap into established basketball communities with passionate fanbases.
Commissioner Micky Lawler emphasized the significance of Los Angeles, stating, “Los Angeles is synonymous with basketball, with a rich culture and fanbase that continues to shape the sport.” This sentiment underscores the city’s pivotal role in the league’s expanding national presence.
