TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley is set to host the RBC Canadian Open for the second consecutive year, following a comprehensive renovation of its North Course. This extensive upgrade was completed in preparation for the prestigious PGA Tour event, highlighting the club’s commitment to providing a top-tier competition venue.

Among the three 18-hole courses available at TPC Toronto, the North Course stands out as the centerpiece for the Canadian Open. The course, which plays to a par-70, has also been complemented by the addition of a new 65,000-square-foot clubhouse, enhancing the overall experience for players and visitors alike.

A Championship-Level Course Reimagined

The redesign of the North Course was meticulously overseen by golf architect Ian Andrew between 2023 and 2024. His vision extended the parkland-style layout to a length of 7,400 yards, crafting a more challenging environment designed to test the skills of elite golfers.

According to TPC Toronto, the renovation aimed to transform the North Course into a venue suitable for high-level competition while simultaneously delivering a “championship experience for all golfers.” Andrew emphasized in a Q&A session on the club’s website that the revamped course offers a “much sterner test” than before, ensuring that players must stay sharp throughout their round.

Open to All Golfers

Distinct from many tournament venues, TPC Toronto operates as a public golf club, making its championship-caliber facilities accessible to any golfer. This means that the elevated experience crafted through the course renovation is available not only to professionals but also to the broader golfing community eager to test their skills on a PGA Tour-level course.
