Disney+ has implemented its fourth price increase since its launch, with adjustments affecting all subscription plans. This change comes exactly one year after the previous hike and just days before the highly anticipated release of Toy Story 5 on the platform.
Subscribers will notice that both ad-free and ad-supported options have seen cost adjustments. The ad-free tiers, including Disney+ Premium and Hulu Premium, will rise from $18.99 to $21.49 monthly, representing a 13% increase. Additionally, the combined bundle for both services will increase from $19.99 to $21.99.
For viewers opting for plans with advertisements, prices have also climbed. The individual ad-supported subscriptions for Disney+ and Hulu will move from $11.99 to $12.49, while the bundled plan including both will rise from $12.49 to $12.99.
In a shift from previous announcements, Disney has confirmed these new prices take effect immediately for new subscribers as of September 23. Existing customers will encounter the updated rates starting with their following monthly billing cycle.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that Disney has raised its streaming subscription fees, steadily moving prices away from their initial levels. Notably, the cost of the ad-supported plan has nearly doubled since 2023, reflecting the ongoing rise in streaming service expenses.
