Ipswich Town have emerged as potential suitors for Claudio Braga, the forward currently starring for Hearts, following reports of a substantial €11 million offer. Braga, who netted 17 goals last season, indicated that a transfer could materialize should the right opportunity arise.

The club is actively pursuing reinforcements as it aims to assemble a squad capable of competing in the upcoming Premier League campaign. Among Ipswich’s rivals in this effort are Coventry City and Hull City, both targeting similar objectives this summer.

Loan Return and Transfer Interests

Meanwhile, Sammie Szmodics has returned to Derby County on loan from Ipswich, with an obligation to buy set at £2.7 million. Reflecting on his move, Szmodics praised Derby manager John Eustace, describing him as ‘fun’ after contributing three goals and one assist during last season.

In addition to Braga, Ipswich have also expressed interest in Armand Lauriente, a winger from Sassuolo. Lauriente had a productive 2025/26 campaign, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists. However, Sassuolo’s asking price remains steep, reportedly between €25 million and €30 million, which poses a significant challenge for Ipswich’s transfer ambitions.
