Paris Saint-Germain has officially secured the return of French international defender Lucas Digne, who has committed to the club with a contract running until 2029. The 33-year-old will don the number 12 jersey as he rejoins the capital outfit.

Reflecting on his comeback, Digne expressed his enthusiasm and respect for the club’s progress since his previous spell more than a decade ago. He highlighted the significant advancements made by PSG, particularly praising the state-of-the-art facilities at the club’s Campus.

Returning to Familiar Grounds with Renewed Ambition

“I am very honoured to be returning to Paris Saint-Germain following the wonderful experience I had here more than ten years ago,” Digne remarked. “I am particularly impressed by how the club has developed over the years. The working conditions at the Campus are exceptional and reflect the club’s ambitions.”

With a wealth of experience behind him, Digne is eager to contribute meaningfully to the squad. “I can’t wait to start this new chapter and put all my experience at the service of the team. Once again, I will give my very best to defend the colours of Paris Saint-Germain,” he added.
