Paris Saint-Germain have intensified their transfer activities with two significant bids this summer. The club has officially offered €33 million for Parma’s goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, while simultaneously submitting a proposal exceeding €40 million for Ajax winger Mika Godts, who has reportedly accepted personal terms.
PSG’s interest in Godts is driven by the prospect of replacing Bradley Barcola, who has attracted attention from Liverpool. While Liverpool continues negotiations to secure Barcola, PSG remain firm on demanding a substantial fee, reportedly around €170 million. The French club is prepared to negotiate only on expensive terms, as they also pursue talents like Maghnes Akliouche and Mika Godts to strengthen their squad.
Ongoing Talks and Transfer Strategies
Discussions have also resumed between PSG and Ferran Torres’ representatives. Although Barcelona wishes to retain the player, the possibility of a transfer remains open, contingent on Torres’ decision. Meanwhile, PSG’s pursuit of Zion Suzuki could trigger competition for the goalkeeping position, potentially impacting Lucas Chevalier’s standing within the squad as coach Luis Enrique continues to reshape the team.
In the case of Lucas Beraldo, PSG have turned down Newcastle’s initial €30 million offer, as Luis Enrique envisions a more prominent midfield role for the young player and is not inclined to sell at this stage.
Adding to the transfer developments, former PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani has returned to Juventus for the 2026-27 season after completing his loan spell. This movement marks another shift in PSG’s evolving roster strategy ahead of the upcoming campaign.
