While Connors tallied 13 points over her time with the Sceptres, her impact extends well beyond offensive statistics. Known for her strong defensive play, she brings valuable versatility and consistency to the ice. This move also reunites her with Troy Ryan, the incoming general manager and head coach of San Jose, who guided Connors throughout her entire professional career in Toronto.
Joining Connors in the San Jose core are goalie Corinne Schroeder and forward Kristin O’Neill, as the team steadily assembles a competitive roster ahead of its inaugural season. The expansion club continues to build momentum amid an active period of player distribution across the league.
