Over the course of 15 editions, Team USA has established a commanding presence, securing 13 victories. The International team’s only triumph dates back to 1998 in Melbourne, Australia, while a single tie was recorded in 2003 in George, South Africa.
Team USA’s Dominance and Recent International Setbacks
Currently, the United States boasts an impressive streak of 11 consecutive Presidents Cup wins. Despite this, the International team enters the tournament with some optimism, fueled by recent setbacks suffered by U.S. golf on the global stage. Notably, the U.S. Ryder Cup team fell to an upset in New York in 2025 under the leadership of Keegan Bradley. Furthermore, earlier this year, U.S. amateurs were defeated by the Great Britain and Ireland team in the Walker Cup.
